It all started when Saul a.k.a Bever, and I began to play street hockey together when we were in 7th grade. Saul and I used to collect hockey cards, listen/ watching the Chicago Blackhawks play, etc. Rollerblades just began to be hot during 1991, and decided to buy me a pair with the Phantom brand. As time went on I started to learn how to rollerblade backwards, do some jumps, and stop...basically copy the P.H.Ps. in the NHL. In 3 years, I noticed my rollerblade wheels waring out. So I bought new ones in 1994. In 1996, my favorite new rollerblades got stolen in da back of my trunk...dammit! So I got mad and f#%@'n spent on new cheap ones which I have to suffer using to this day. I guess I am good at rollerblading that I don't even need a helmet or knee&elbow pads that get all hot and sweaty. Overall, I suggest everyone to try rollerblading, because it is fun, and helps keep you in shape.
